Education
I must claim the boring tradition of K-12 followed up by a practical tertiary education. Having a keen interest in technology, programming, modeling, etc. the practical choice for me was the tech field. After all, one needs steady income and the world of technology is upon us. Knowing this, I enrolled and graduated from Aurora University with a degree in Computer Science. If we want to look at specifics here it is:
- Bachelor of Science, June 2003
Aurora University, Aurora, Illinois
Graduated Magna Cum Laude
Recipient of the 2003 Computer Science Award
Major: Computer Science
Minors: Art, Music, Criminal Justice, and Mathematics
Initially I was a triple major in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Criminal Justice principally because I had desired to enter either the Law Enforcement field or some fashion of spook stuff. These goals died on the table during 2002 as I recognized the truer calling that was art. So, being practical, I dropped my triple major so I could graduate quickly with a nice Computer Science degree. From there I applied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago was accepted and graduated from. The formalities look something like this:
- Bachelor of Fine Arts, December 2006
The School of the Art Institute, Chicago
Emphasis on painting/drawing
Other pursuits: film, sound, computers/electronics
more to come...
